This afternoon Jenny and I set up our nativity set. The "cave" is just a cardboard box covered with one of our play silks, and the star is one from my ornament collection. We will put baby Jesus away until Christmas, and the three kings will wander around the house until Epiphany, but we wanted to see what it will look like all set up. :)
ps) Now that we are home I should be back to blogging as normal!
Lovely! I like your "action" plans for the Wise Men and baby Jesus. I've never done that.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if we will get our decorations up or not...the clutter monster has taken over and I am too overwhelmed to deal with it I'm afraid. But I am going to get our Advent Calendar out...the kids wouldn't let me skimp on that ;-)

Oooh, I love your nativity set! We put a non breakable (well, hopefully. . .) heavy pocelain set up for the boys to play with. The older two are fascinated with the animals and the baby Jesus, and the beard on Joseph. . .heehee. I need to make a cave like yours. I think the boys would like that.
